The Persimmon Course, which opened to rave reviews in 1999 as a Scottsdale private golf course, features elevation changes from 50 feet to 300 feet. It’s the more traditional of the two Anthem, Arizona golf courses, which features a signature, 18,000 square foot double green that concludes both the front and back nines. Perhaps the most notable is the final stretch of holes 15 through 18 that makes for a strong finish.

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| A drive down the left side of this medium-length par 4 will set up an ideal shot to a green protected by a bunker short right. |
# 2 / Hole #2
Par: 3
Handicaps:
Men's 16
Women's 18
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 199
BLACK 183

GREEN 140
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| With a lake on three sides and two bunkers left, this par 3 can look intimidating. Playing slightly down-hill, a mid-iron will find the center of the green, but there is room on the right to miss this large, undulating green. |
# 3 / Hole #3
Par: 5
Handicaps:
Men's 2
Women's 2
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 557
BLACK 533
BLUE 514
WHITE 506
GREEN 453
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| Tees are elevated 30 feet above the fairway. The second shot selection is determined by the pin placement: a front right pin calls for a wood to carry the right fairway bunker; a back left pin calls for a layup short and left. |
# 4 / Hole #4
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 6
Women's 10
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 441

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| This long, uphill dogleg right has a wash running down the entire left side. Tee shots must carry two pot bunkers and avoid grass bunkers on the left. The three-tiered green is highlighted by a pot bunker on the back right. |
# 5 / Hole #5
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 10
Women's 6
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 409
BLACK 389

GREEN 309
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| A premium is placed on a precise tee shot over a wash. The narrow fairway is framed by a wash on the left and four fairway bunkers on the right. A target bunker short right directs the second shot to a semi-blind green fronted by grass pot bunkers. The fairway wraps around the right side of the green allowing for a bail out. |
# 6 / Hole #6

Men's 4
Women's 12

Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128

Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 12
Women's 4

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128

# 10 / Hole #10
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 15

Pro Tips
| Downhill all the way, this is the shortest par 4 on the course. A deep swale runs through the middle of the landing area, setting up a tricky approach. A lake positioned on the left catches stray tee shots. |
# 11 / Hole #11
Par: 5
Handicaps:
Men's 3
Women's 3
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 524
BLACK 504

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| The eleventh is a par 5 that features a fairway bunkers down the right side of the landing area. Lay up on your second shot to the left for a better approach angle to the green. |
# 12 / Hole #12
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 9
Women's 13
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 460
BLACK 438

# 13 / Hole #13
Par: 3
Handicaps:
Men's 13
Women's 15
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 196
BLACK 172

WHITE 160
GREEN 145
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| A deep canyon wash on the left sets up this long, uphill par 3. The large, tiered green is protected by flanking bunkers. A short tee shot will find a very steep grass depression. |
# 14 / Hole #14
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 7
Women's 5
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 419
BLACK 402
BLUE 391
WHITE 376
GREEN 334
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| This hole climbs over 50 feed from tee to green. Grass bunkers define the right side of the sloping fairway, with four bunkers in the background. The three-tiered green is guarded by the grass bunkers front and right, while bunkers behind the green catch long approach shots. |
# 15 / Hole #15
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 5
Women's 9
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 467
BLACK 437
BLUE 417

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| The elevation from tee to green is 80 feet. The ideal tee shot must carry the left fairway bunker but will be rewarded as the fairway opens up. A large bunker surrounds the right and back of this green. |
# 16 / Hole #16
Par: 5
Handicaps:
Men's 1
Women's 1
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 581
BLACK 559

WHITE 524
GREEN 467
Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| The plateau fairway is cut in half by a wash, and a bunker bisects the greenside fairway. A tee shot that hugs the right side will allow a bold second shot to roll onto the green. An errant shot to the left side of the green will not hold and the ball will find a bunker. |
# 17 / Hole #17
Par: 3
Handicaps:
Men's 17
Women's 17
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 208
BLACK 198

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| This classic par 3 is set up for a right-to-left tee shot. A ball too far left will find a deep bunker and bunkers on the back right and shot will catch shots to the right. |
# 18 / Hole #18
Par: 4
Handicaps:
Men's 11
Women's 7
Yardage by Tee:
GOLD 442
BLACK 423

Slope:
Black 139 | Blue 137 | White - Men 131 | White - Women 137 | Green - Men 122 | Green - Women 128
Pro Tips
| Drives down the right side will be rewarded as the fairway opens up. A deep canyon awaits a poor approach shot right, while a leftward second shot will find a slope that could send your ball onto the green. |
